Man Shot In Tampa After Hit-And-Run Incident

A Pennsylvania man was wounded early Saturday morning when, after confronting a driver who rear-ended his SUV and fled, he was shot by a third man who drove up to the scene but left and was later arrested.

Hillsborough County deputies say the incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. after an unidentified man was removed from the Till Dawn Bottle Club, 8205 N. Dale Mabry Hwy., and drove away in a black Dodge Challenger.

The man was driving northbound on North Dale Mabry in Tampa when he struck the back of a Chevrolet Yukon driven by 27-year-old Alexander Sierra of Reading, Pennsylvania.

The driver of the Challenger left the scene and when Sierra caught up to him after he crashed into a convenience store, and unidentified male driver of the Camaro then arrived at the scene, deputies say, and Sierra and that driver exchanged gunshots.
