When they arrived, they saw a 19-year-old male outside the apartments with at least one gunshot wound. Hillsborough County Fire Rescue transported the victim, later identified as Tysaiah Christopher Williams Donaldson of Wesley Chapel, to a hospital where he later died.
Detectives know of at least two suspects described as black males who were seen fleeing from the area on foot.
Homicide detectives worked for the next several hours processing the crime scene and conducting interviews.
