A man is dead after a pedestrian accident in Tampa.
Tampa police say it happened on Sunday, August 3 at 5:00 a.m. just 300 feet west of North Lois Avenue. The victim, Jerome Thomas, 44, was wearing dark clothing and failed to see the eastbound traffic on Hillsborough Avenue.
The driver of the car, Lorenzo Rodriguez, 57, hit Thomas, who was on his bike.
Rodriguez was not cited in the incident.
