Tampa News: Friendship Palms
At 8:27 this morning Tampa Fire Rescue crews responded to a 911 call reporting a fire at the Friendship Palms Apartments at 1310 W. Waters Ave.
The fire was put out within two minutes of the first unit’s arrival. Firefighters performed a search of the building to ensure the safety of the other residents.
An adult female, was transported to a local hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation.
There were no other injuries to citizens or firefighters.
An investigator from the Fire Marshal’s Office is on scene to determine the cause of the fire.
