City of Tampa presents – Santa Fest!

Santa’s coming to town this weekend and to celebrate his arrival, Tampa will kick things off with a lot of fun activities.

Tampa’s Official Tree Lighting ceremony:

The tree lighting ceremony is tonight in Curtis Hixon Park complete with music and activities for the kids and with the tree actually being lit at approximately 8:00 p.m.

The tomorrow’s Santa fest begins with a parade, complete with beads, and will end at Curtis Hixon Park.

This is a family friendly celebration that will have arts and crafts for the kids, food, music, ice skating and of course Santa.

Holiday Parade

Tampa’s Downtown Holiday Parade steps off at 11 a.m.

The will begin at Morgan Street and Madison Street travel west on Madison Street to Ashley Drive, turn north and end at Ashley Drive and Cass Street

The Santa Fest  event will be at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park from 12pm until 5pm. There will be  plenty of activities throughout the day including a visit from Santa. Children  will even get a FREE photo with Santa as well as have an opportunity to call  Santa’s workshop.
