The Tampa Police Department is currently investigating two shootings where victims were transported to area hospitals.
The first shooting was at 1:21 am Monday morning and involved two males who were shot in the area of West Waters / North Edison. When officers arrived they found 31-year-old Antonio Davis and transported him to a hospital. The second victim, 31-year-old Dexter Price was located at Waters Ave at Florida Ave and was taken to a hospital.
They are in serious condition, and homicide detectives are on-scene interviewing possible witnesses. The motive is unknown at this time.
The second shooting happened at 1:45 am Monday morning. Tampa police was called out the Sugar Shack and when they arrived they were notified that a gunshot victim, 32-year-old Rodrick Randale Alexander of Tampa was dropped off at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He later died of his injuries.
Detectives are still unclear on the motives of these shootings or if they’re connected.
