Tampa Road Rage Shooting Wounds One

TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. (AP) _ Police are searching for a motor cycle driver who they believe shot another driver near Tampa during a possible road rage incident.

The shooting happened early Monday in Temple Terrace.

Temple Terrace police spokesman Mike Dunn tells the Tampa Tribune the man’s car crashed after the shooting.

A witness called 911 around 1:15 a.m. to report the incident.

The driver told officers he had been shot by a man on a motorcycle who had been following his vehicle for several miles.

The witness told police the motorcycle made a U-turn and headed toward nearby Interstate 75.

Dunn says the victim is a 36-year-old man from California.

He was in critical condition early Monday.

Police haven’t determined a motive for the shooting.
