Tampa Police Trying To Identify ATM Robber

Hillsborough County Sheriff Deputies are asking for the public’s help in identifying an ATM armed robbery suspect that occurred Sunday at 12:40 pm at the Bank of America located at 16002 Dale Mabry Highway North in Tampa.

Police say the suspect is possibly a female, 18 – 21 years of age, approximately 5’6″, 120 lbs., thin build, light complexion, short brown hair. Wearing a yellow t-shirt, white shorts, brown sandals, dark round sunglasses. They also say she’s armed with a handgun.

The victim of the robbery, 59 year-old Hillary Smith Pannier of Tampa, walked up to the ATM and was approached by the suspect from behind. The suspect ordered the victim at gun point to withdraw money from her account. The victim complied and the suspect took the money, fleeing the scene on foot. The victim was not injured. The suspect fled north across the parking lot and got into a 2 door red vehicle.

Anyone with any information reference the suspect is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office at 247-8200 or anyone with any information regarding the identity and whereabouts of this suspect and who wants to be eligible for a cash reward is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477).
