Tampa Police have executed a search warrant at the “Homeless Helping The Homeless” charity on East Floribraska Avenue.
They say they were looking for tax and financial records plus any other documentation about how the shelter is run and how shelter head Adolphus Parker runs his two businesses—Cheap Towing and Vehicle Title Retrieval.
The warrant says there is evidence that Parker has broken several Florida laws including fraud.
Parker believes the raid is tied to his recent lawsuit against the city of Tampa.
He won his claim that city panhandling laws are unconstitutional.
