Tampa Fast Food Workers Demand More $

Protesters demonstrated for better pay outside a Tampa McDonald’s this morning.

Dozens of fast food workers who make minimum wage or slightly above demanded the minimum in Florida be boosted to $15 an hour.

They say that’s the amount it takes to make ends meet.

Right now, Florida’s minimum wage is $8.05 an hour.

T0day’s protest comes after California and New York lawmkers decided to hike their states’ minimum wage to $15 an hour gradually over the next several  years.
