Tampa Bay Weather

Those gusty winds of late will begin to decrease today, but we will still be a little breezy at times today. After a start that saw mid 40s in Hernando and Citrus counties, most in the 50s to low 60s, we start a warm up that takes us the the mid 70s.

There will be a few clouds and a sprinkle this morning in Sarasota County mainly in the Venice area. Otherwise, we will be dry today with mostly sunny skies.

The warm up continues tomorrow and into the weekend as we head back to highs near the average of 81.

Today: Partly to mostly sunny skies with a stray early sprinkle south of Tampa. Winds will decrease to WNW 10-15 mph with highs into the mid 70s.

Tonight: Partly cloudy skies with light winds. Lows will dip to the low 50s inland to low 60s along the coast.

Marine Forecast: Small Craft Exercise Caution this morning which should go down thsi afternoon as winds decrease. Winds WNW 20kts decreasing to WNW 10 kts this afternoon. There will be a moderate to light chop on the Bay
