On Tuesday night around 10:08 pm, the Tarpon Springs Police Department responded to an address in the 500 block of S Levis Ave regarding a complaint of a possible criminal mischief.
Upon arrival officers were advised by a female resident that her 27 year old son had come inside the house acting strange and advised her that he doused her “Rib Shack” barbecue grill trailer with gasoline (did not ignite) which was parked out front of the residence.
Then he went into a rear bedroom where his 1 year old son was sleeping and locked the door, and would not respond to his mother at all.
Officers attempted to make contact with the son but he would not answer them.
SWAT team has been mobilized and arrived on scene.
