OCALA, Fla. – Ocala police say a nightclub bouncer shot and killed three co-workers because he was angry over getting “punked.”
Police responded to AJ’s Bar on 11 East Silver Springs Blvd. around 12:45 a.m. early Sunday morning where they found three men with gunshot wounds laying on the sidewalk outside the bar.
Two of the men were shot in the head and pronounced dead at the scene. Another was transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Officers say Andrew Joseph Lobban, 31, of Ocala admitted to shooting the men because one of the victims played a prank on him, videotaped it and showed it to the other two victims and they all teased him over it. Lobban told police he had been angry at the men since the incident occurred.
He was arrested Sunday morning and will be charged with three counts of First Degree Murder.
