OCALA, Fla. (AP) _ Police say the grandson of a couple found slain inside their north Florida home is a person of interest in the case.
The Ocala Star-Banner reports 32-year-old Terrance Hurst was arrested Monday in Pinellas County on an unrelated charge of driving with a suspended or revoked license.
He remained in jail there and records don’t indicate whether he has a lawyer.
The bodies of 81-year-old Robert Roy Schwamberger and 77-year-old Ruth Amelia Schwamberger were found Sunday in their Ocala home.
The newspaper reports detectives drained the couple’s pool on Tuesday, but didn’t say what they were looking for.
The cause of death has not been released either.
Police in Largo stopped Hurst on Monday after spotting him driving the couple’s car.
Detectives spoke to him on Monday night.
