Police say the incident happened at the SunTrust bank at 1001 3rd Avenue West in Bradenton at 4:18 p.m. on September 4th.
The suspect, a black male, cashed a counterfeit check at the bank. The check was drawn against a SunTrust Bank business account in another name.
Police say the suspect used a Bahamian passport at the time of the transaction and he is believed to have cashed another counterfeit check at another SunTrust Bank branch in Sarasota using the name “Carl Golden.”
