Starbucks Launches #RaceTogether Initiative, Looks to End Racism

SEATTLE – Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz has moved into the race debate in America by launching his #RaceTogether initiative. Instead of delivering coffee to their customers they are asking the barista’s to spark debate on race.

Many questions come to mind; will this create a uncomfortable environment in Starbucks, is this really the conversation you want to have while getting a cup of coffee, are barista’s qualified to have the conversation with customers, what if barista’s are racist themselves?
