St. Petersburg City Election 2013

They’re lawyers and former City Council members and they all think they know how best to lead St. Petersburg for the next four years. In one corner: The incumbent mayor, touting his accomplishments amid the backdrop of a recession. In another: A woman out to save the Pier and slash inefficiencies at City Hall. Then, there’s the well-funded former state lawmaker, trying to distinguish his positions from those of his better-known challengers. Click on the photos above to see how each candidate responded to our questions about their vision for the city and what they’d do if elected.

Poll are open from 7am – 7pm today.
