On April 3, 2014 at approximately 10:49am, St. Petersburg Fire & Rescue responded to 480 Bayshore Dr. SE for a male Pt. that fell approximately 30ft.
The Pt was in the process of removing some scaffolding in the area of the grandstands, from the St. Petersburg Grand Prix.
It was reported that the Pt missed step and fell 30 feet to the ground.
St. Petersburg Fire and Rescue crews were on scene at 10: 55 and completed a rapid trauma assessment of the Pt and trauma alerted the Pt to Bayfront medical center. The Pt is currently being evaluated by Bayfront Hospital for the severity of his injuries.
