Deputies say a plane has crashed off the coast of Siesta Key.
Initial reports are saying that both occupants are out of the aircraft and have minor injuries.
The Sarasota Bradenton International Airport reported the mayday call to the Sarasota County Sheriff’s office Public Safety Communications Center.
The Sarasota Sheriff’s Office sent out a picture showing a biplane upside down near the shore.
