The skydiver, 20-year-old Alexandria Ladyzhensky, landed in a tree on Paul Buchman Highway around noon Saturday. She was uninjured when he landed and was eventually rescued.
Fire crews had to call in a crew with aerial capability to reach Ladyzhensky because she landed 25-30 feet up the tree. They were also able to remove the parachute and other equipment.
Ladyzhensky was evaluated for medical treatment, but was not transported. She says her altimeter caused her to miss her target.
