STARKE, Fla. (AP) _ David Alan Gore is set to be executed nearly 29 years after murdering 17-year-old Lynn Elliott.
In all, Gore killed four teenage girls and two women.
Elliott’s murder is the only one for which he’s condemned.
He also is serving five consecutive life prison terms for other murders.
He’s scheduled to die by lethal injection at 6 p.m. Thursday.
It’s a day her parents have been waiting for _ they say living for _ and one they many think should have come years ago considering there’s no doubt he committed the crimes and he has shown no remorse.
Elliott’s father, Carl Elliott just turned 81 and he’s wondered whether Gore would outlive him. Her mother, Jeanne Elliott almost died two years ago.
She believes she recovered so she could see Gore die first.
