Super Bowl Brawl Only Highlights a Really Bad Year in the NFL

 

Super Bowl XLIX is in the books, with the Patriots pulling out a 28-24 win, thanks to an interception by Malcolm Butler at the goal line. But instead of talking about the legacies of Bill Belichick and Tom Brady, who clinched their fourth Lombardi Trophy together, or even deflate-gate, we’re scratching our heads over that brawl the Seahawks appeared to instigate at the end, with Bruce Irvin being ejected. It doesn’t paint the NFL in a very flattering light.
