St. Pete Police Asking For Help In Leadup To Phoebe Jonchuck’s Death

St. Pete police are asking for tips leading up to Phoebe Jonchuck’s death.

Investigators believe that John Jonchuck may have spoken to members of the clergy/church in the Tampa Bay area in the days before the murder of his daughter on January 8th. Detectives are interested in speaking to any clergy member or individual who spoke directly to the suspect.

Detectives would also like to speak to anyone who may have seen Jonchuck, Phoebe, or the PT Cruiser, the afternoon or evening of Wednesday January 7th. This would assist us in establishing a timeline leading up to Phoebe’s death.

Anyone with information, please call Detective Kenneth Miller can be contacted at (727)892-5916), or text SPPD and the information to TIP411.

Other updates:

– Investigators executed a court ordered search warrant of the vehicle. The evidence collected includes: a pink booster seat, cell phone, and religious items.

– Based on preliminary evidence, our investigators believe Phoebe was alive when Jonchuck dropped her from the bridge.

– There’s also this video of Jonchuck blowing through this toll booth.
