A 77-year-old man has died after causing an accident in Pinellas Park.
According to Pinellas Park police, Carl Biamonte was killed after he slammed into a truck at Belcher Road and Park Boulevard. The accident happened just after 4:00 a.m.
Police said Biamonte was traveling east on his 2009 Honda Shadow motorcycle on Park Blvd. at 4:15 a.m. and made a left turn and went directly into the path of a 2009 Ford F150. Police say Biamonte ran the red light and collided head on with the F-150.
According to police, the driver of the F150, 27-year-old Carl Schaneman was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
