A 1-year-old girl has died after being run over as her father was backing out of the driveway.
According to the St. Petersburg Police Department, Kristian Brown was backing his 2005 Dodge Durango out of the driveway at 561 13th Avenue South. Unknown to him, his daughter, Kriziyah, was behind the truck and she was run over by the truck.
Kriziyah was pronounced dead at the scene and Kristian was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license involving a death.
A small amount of marijuana was found in the truck. Additional charges may be pending.
