The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office had been chasing a hit and run suspect this morning which ended in a crash on the Dunedin Causeway.
Police say the suspect had left the scene of a hit-and-run, and was chased until the suspects car crashed into a pole on the Dunedin Causeway near Honeymoon Island State Park.
After the crash the suspect continued to flee on foot but was caught, deputies said.
There were no injuries.
