Romney Campaigning in Capital

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is campaigning in the Florida state capital on Wednesday.

Romney plans to meet with business leaders and voters at a religious-themed Tallahassee restaurant known for its Southern buffet and its Christian paintings on the walls.

He is also scheduled to meet with Florida Gov. Rick Scott even though Scott has pledged to remain neutral in the crowded GOP primary for president.

The former governor of Massachusetts is spending his second straight day in Florida. His visit comes just days after Florida officials voted to move the date of the presidential primary to Jan. 31.

Romney spent time Tuesday in central Florida, where he took a swipe a GOP rival and Texas Gov. Rick Perry over social security.
