Report: Hackers Could Control US Commercial Airspace

WASHINGTON – There are nearly 3 thousand commercial airplanes in US Airspace at any given moment.

What would happen if the computer system used to keep those planes separated and on their intended route failed?

The Government Accountability Office says it could happen.

A new GAO report says the FAA has failed to makes surest most critical flight guidance computers can keep hackers out and quickly report it if one gets in.
