Sen. Rand Paul is expected to announce his candidacy for the presidency at an event in Louisville on Tuesday. He previewed his key themes in a video that he released on Sunday, highlighting his outreach to minority voters, his filibuster in 2013 of John Brennan’s nomination as CIA director and his libertarian policies. Similar to Cruz, Rand has made a name for himself in Washington with some of his actions as senator, along with things he has said.
