Pres. Obama Wants To Go To War With ISIS

President Barack Obama is poised in coming days to ask Congress for authority to use U.S. military force against Islamic State militants in Iraq and Syria, the White House said Thursday. But House Speaker John Boehner says approval may not come easily, and Obama will first need to rally support among lawmakers and the public.

Of course, for the president to rally support among House Republicans on anything is a tricky proposition, particularly as they look for ways to dismantle his controversial executive actions on immigration. And on that subject, the DHS funding bill hit the wall once again on Thursday, with Senate Democrats once again holding up the current funding legislation which includes dismantling of those executive actions.
