Preliminary State Test Results Finally Out

Florida school districts are finally get a partial peek at how their students did on the new and controversial Florida Standards Assessments last spring.

Some data are being distributed so administrators can start poring over them.

Included is information about whether student scores were at the top, middle, or bottom of the statewide performance.

Not included are passing rates and school grades that are based on the results.

Teachers, administrators, and parents are trying to get the test results thrown out after an independent study showed problems with test questions and how the tests were given.
