In august the Tampa Bay area hosted the republican national convention. When you add everybody from both counties a total of 41% thought it was positive. Ten percent believed the convention had a negative impact and 43%. The highest number believed the convention made no difference. Pinellas county respondents were more positive about the event, possibly because they were less affected by the massive security in the downtown area. We spoke to Lawson from Hillsborough County and got his thoughts.
