The latest Quinnipiac University Poll has Democrat Hillary Clinton with a huge lead over Vermont U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders in the Florida primary battle.
The poll says 59 percent of likely Democratic voters prefer Clinton, while 33 percent back Sanders.
Clinton’s big overall lead is largely propelled by her standing with women.
Sunshine State women prefer Clinton 69 percent to Sanders at 24 percent.
Men like Sanders more, but only by four percentage points.
There is also a palpable divide between the two candidates by voter age.
Younger voters like Sanders while older Democrats like Clinton.
8 percent of Florida Democrats are undecided.
The primary is March 15th.
