Today’s question asks if people would be willing to spend public or tax money to bring light rail mass transit to parts of the Tampa Bay area. 56% of Hillsborough and 60% of Pinellas residents say yes, they would. 35% of Hillsborough and 33% of Pinellas residents oppose spending money for light rail. The percentages were fairly consistent among age groups and sexes. We asked Patrick who lives in Hillsborough county his thoughts on the subject.
