Today’s question asks where bay area residents think the Rays should plan the original Tropicana Field: A new stadium at the Tropicana Field site, a stadium in Carilon, in downtown Tampa, at the Florida State Fairgrounds, or somewhere entirely outside of the Tampa Bay area. Hillsborough residents were almost equally divided on leaving it where it is now or moving the Rays to the fairgrounds. Of Pinellas respondents 42% want the Rays to stay at the current Tropicana Field facility. 21% want the team to move to Carilon and only 1% want the team to move to the fairgrounds.
