Polk County Deputies Searching For Frostproof Man

Polk County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing and endangered elderly adult.

73-year-old Norman Henry Cole was last seen at between the hours of 11:30 pm Wednesday and 2:30 a.m. Thursday at his home located on Stanley Avenue in Frostproof.

Cole, who suffers from Alzheimer’s, was reported missing by his wife. He is believed to be driving a black, 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan with a Florida license tag of 913-NCR.

From Michigan, Cole has lived in Polk County for several years.

Cole was last seen wearing a navy t-shirt, dark brown slacks, and tan shoes with Velcro closures. He is described as being approximately 5’08” tall and weighing approximately 167 pounds. He has gray hair, and blue eyes. He has scars on his abdomen from surgery and wears false teeth. He also wears glasses however, may not have his glasses with him.
