(UPDATE 1:30 p.m.) Authorities now say the woman found dead in the canal may have been “huffing” to get high. Several cans of compressed air were found near her body.

There are few answers after the body of a woman was found in a Pinellas Park canal Wednesday.
The body was seen in the canal water off 40th Street.
An autopsy will determine the unidentified woman’s cause of death.
There is speculation by police that she was homeless.
They call her death “suspicious.”
