Police: Woman Left Dog To Die Alone In Foreclosed House

Pasco Sheriff deputies have arrested a woman for allegedly leaving a dog to die in a foreclosed house.

Police say according to multiple phone interviews with the suspect’s family, 35-year-old Tabatha Ann Spadola of Holiday intentionally left a one-year-old pitbull in the house and knew the whole time that the dog was suffering in the house with no electricity, food or water.

The police report says she lied to her family and said that the dog was taken to a no-kill shelter just so they wouldn’t come out to the house at 1344 Wickham Lane, which is now foreclosed.

Spadola has been arrested on animal cruelty charges.
