At 8:30 this morning , Twalla Killins, was walking to the Sweetbay, on 5050 10th Avenue East in Tampa, when a 1997 Honda Accord pulled up along side her.
A man inside the car grabbed her purse and started to drive away. However, Killins, hadn’t let go and she was dragged almost 40 feet alongside the car.
A truck driver, driven by Steven Reed, who was making making a delivery, witnessed the incident and followed the car to get the license tag, but athroties found out the car was stolen.
Killins was cut on her face, arms and legs.
Detectives are working with witnesses to get descriptions and are still searching for the suspects.
