Police Search for Missing North Florida Woman

LIVE OAK, Fla. (AP) _ Authorities are searching for a 24-year-old north Florida woman who was last seen almost two weeks ago.

Suwannee County Sheriff Tony Cameron says Kamrie Cherai Mitchell’s car was found Wednesday along a roadway south of Wellborn that remains flooded from Tropical Storm Debby in late June.

The sheriff says he’s worried foul play is involved.

Investigators say a cell phone was found submerged in the vehicle.

They’re seeking a subpoena to check the phone for messages and calls.
