Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Joshua David Smith, 32, of Lakeland on Wednesday evening. He’s charged with one count of directing/promoting sexual performance of a child. He’s an officer in the Oakland Police Department in Orange County.
According to investigators, the victim is a 3-year-old girl that Smith had access to.
