Police: Boy, 12, Injured In Shooting

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Police in Florida say they are investigating a shooting that injured a 12-year-old boy.

News outlets reported Saturday that witnesses told police that a SUV pulled in front of the Cherry Hill Mini Market. Authorities say three people exited the vehicle and began shooting at unknown men who were standing in the area.

Boynton Beach police said in a Facebook post that the child was down the street from the market and was struck by gunfire. The boy was taken to a local hospital, where he is expected to make a full recovery.
