Personal Care Home Evacuated Over Broken Pipe

NANTICOKE, Pa. (AP) — More than 60 residents of a personal care home in northeastern Pennsylvania have been displaced because of a broken water pipe.

It happened around 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the Nanticoke Villa in Nanticoke. Fire officials say the pipe burst on the third floor and sent water throughout the building, which was evacuated. Residents have been taken to the cafeteria at Nanticoke Area High School, where officials say students will be dismissed early Monday.
