Peanut Allergy Sufferers May Need Peanuts

A groundbreaking study suggests a new way to prevent peanut allergies, rising in children in the United States.

Rather than avoiding exposure to peanuts during the early years, in this study, researchers randomly assigned children either to have peanuts during the first year of life or to hold off on giving peanuts until children were five years of age and what they found was by starting peanut exposure between four months and 11 months, it reduced the rate of peanut of allergy by 80 percent, dramatic results.
