A man in Perth, Australia got trapped between a train and the platform Wednesday morning while boarding. Luckily for him, a swarm of other passengers came to his rescue. They literally pushed the train just enough so the man could free his leg.
According to Transperth spokesman David Hynes, the train operator was alerted to the trapped man and was told not to move the train. He then gathered up the surrounding passengers to help in the rescue.
“It was people power that saved someone from possibly quite serious injury,” he said.
