Pasco Fire Rescue and Pasco Sheriff’s Office is responding to a propane gas leak in the area of 11832 US. 19 south of State Road 52, Port Richey. Officials received the call at 10:17 a.m.
Units are on scene making some evacuations of businesses in the immediate vicinity of the leak.
Southbound US 19 is being shut down. A Pasco County Utility crew repairing a leaking water line valve hit the gas line which belongs to TECO.
TECO is responding.
No injuries are reported.
Upadate: Both north and south bound lanes have reopened. TECO is on scene and the gas is shut off.
