Palm Harbor Man Arrested For Sexual Battery On Teen

Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit have arrested a Palm Harbor man for sexual battery on a teenager. The victim is currently 16-years-of age. Per Florida Statute 119.071(2)(h)1 no further details will be released that would tend to identify the victim.

According to detectives, their investigation began on Sunday after a witness saw 35-year-old Jeffery Miller having inappropriate sexual activity with the victim. After being confronted by the witness, Miller turned himself in at the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office- North District Station.

Detectives interviewed Miller and determined that there were multiple incidents where Miller had inappropriate sexual activity with the victim. The first incident occurred in or around November 2014.

Miller was arrested at the North District Station and was charged with three counts of Sexual Battery- Familial Authority.

Miller was transported to the Pinellas County Jail without incident.
