An overturned semi closed the southbound lanes of I-75 in Hernando County for three hours Tuesday morning.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 50-year-old Mark Traudt of Spring Hill was driving the semi in the outside lane near milepost 294 when he lost control and overturned the semi. Traudt suffered serious injuries. Alcohol is not suspected to be a factor in the crash.
The crash closed the southbound lanes and one lane was able to open at 6:30 a.m.
He was transporting various goods to Walmart.
