Water Parks Across Orlando See Closures Due To Cooler Weather

Disney, SeaWorld And Legoland Will Close Their Water Parks This Week

It seems water parks had just opened back up, but are now being closed down. Due to a forecast of colder weather, water parks at Walt Disney World and SeaWorld Orlando will be closed this week.

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon had just reopened Sunday after its annual maintenance period. Now that water park and Disney’s Blizzard Beach will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday. A Disney World spokesman told the Orlando Sentinel that the parks are scheduled for regular hours on Friday and so on.

SeaWorld’s water park, Aquatica, will also be closed on Wednesday and Thursday, said a spokeswoman for the company to the Orlando Sentinel.

Unfortunately the closures don’t stop there. A Legoland Florida spokeswoman told the Sentinel that the Winter Haven water park would be closed Wednesday and Thursday. Like Typhoon Lagoon, Legoland’s water park had just reopened this past weekend after its winter break.
