A third body has been found in a burned-out Malabar home in Brevard County, further solidifying police theories that a man murdered his wife, young son, and his wife’s sister, and then fled.
The third body found days after the raging fire at the Atz Road house is identified as Linda Woods, 39, of Bella Vista, Ark. She had been staying with the family, which included Tony and Chrissy Hughes and her 9 year old son Sebastian Meachum.
Authorities believe Tony Hughes killed the three and then torched the house to cover up the crimes. He left the scene and had not been found, but his small boat was discovered seven miles off Sebastian Inlet, running at full throttle in circles.
There was also blood on the vessel. The U.S. Coast Guard is looking for Hughes in the area where the boat was found.Those who know the Hughes family say there had been recent domestic disharmony.
